Despite the unfortunate passing of Steve Jobs earlier this year, his legacy continues onwards through remembrance. The 2012 Grammy Awards will present a special Trustees Award in honor of the Apple founder. Jobs’ contributions to the music and media industry have been invaluable, effectively helping a dying and archaic industry enter a new era and business model with iTunes.
And of course his help in paving the way for music consumption with the iPod is something that has been universally accepted as the standard for design and innovation.
